I just restored a Logic8 backup from my main-station computer to my 
laptop, which I use for logging when I am on the road. I suddenly 
have about double the total qso count with something like 3800 
duplicates. I selected the "append" option, thinking that this would 
result in adding my entries from my main computer onto my 
laptop. Obviously, it appended the entire log and not just the half 
dozen contacts I had intended.
Is there a utility to remove duplicate entries?
What should I have done to accomplish the synchronization of the files?
