I'm not sure I understand the question. If you operated outside of the
contest period, the contacts don't count. The scoring doesn't matter because
it is recalculated when you submit your log and QSOs outside the contest
window are not counted. If you are just concerned about the calculation, did
you select Rescore Contest in the drop down window?
Question 2, on the Log menu there is a menu item Callbook to Log.
After a contest I usually first run the "Copy previous QSO data"
miscellaneous utility to fill data for stations already in the log before.
