Actually RT-Systems makes one for 23,ドル their RTS-03 seen at the bottom of

I think it is the best for radio programming since you can adjust the port
latency if you use the included drivers. This allows timimg changes that
make the programming to and from the radio a little more stable.
They work well for radio control purposes as well.

I built a P.C. and added two (2) each 4 port serial cards. Now I have 9
serial ports on one computer

Hi Dennis...
Well since I started this thread, several things happened.
a) I found out the USB-serial boxes are not all that cheap (certainly not in
the 40ドル range as I'd hoped). But they are available if one needs one.
b) Serial cards are still available for PC's with PCI bus. These too are not
as cheap as I'd expected either...I think the prices are rising again, as
serial becomes more rare. But they are available if one needs one.
c) My hamshack PC (about 1 year old) has one serial port on the motherboard,
but no more. It has served me well with Logic, but now, with two rigs, I
need more I/O.
d) I decided to order a 2-port PCI serial card from one of my suppliers
(around 35ドル), as it's the cheapest solution. Have not yet received it, but
it should let me add at least one more COM port, and if I'm lucky (and it's
configurable), maybe two more COM ports. It'll do the job...for now.
Interesting how the I/O interfaces seem to grow for ALL devices! It's a hard
life for programmers, eh?
Tnx es 73
