I found it easy to setup up a country name field and have it populate
with
data for new QSO's only. I don't know how to make the field populate for
all
qso's in log.
Here is what I did:
In Logic goto menu option Tools, Setup, Log fields.. Add a new field
called
Country, Charater, Width 30, Upshift, then save it and exit form.
Click on padlock on log form to unlock the form and click on the icon
next
to the padlock, select an open userfield not in use or not need then
select
Country in list, click select and Ok. Exit form.
Now click on trash can icon in upper right corner to unhide the Country
(flduser##) and the label for lblCountry. At this point the new fields
should be on your log form. Move them where you wish and use the tab
icon to
set a tab order if you wish.
Click on the padlock again to lock the log form layout.
Finally, in you log form, goto menu option Log, Setup. Click on "Copy
from
prefix table" tab and add new data as follows:
TO: Userfields From: MAKE_TAG("COUNTRY:",DXCC)
Now click Ok and all should work ok! Test it out by entering a new DX
call
or USA call in your form.
I hope I have not left out a step.. Hi!

Does anyone know a quick way to modify the log form to display not just
the
DXCC prefix (which is standard) but also the full country name? I know I
can
look it up a million ways to Sunday, but I just wanted it to appear on
the
log form automatically. I thought I knew the program pretty well by now,
but
I just haven't been able to figure this one out.
