First off, do whatever you can to ditch Win 98! SE or otherwise, it is a 
piece of junk OS.
XP is a far better OS and rock stable. 2000 is not bad but XP is just 
fantastic. A friend of mine sold
me on XP a while back when I had 98SE and I haven't been this trouble free 
since DOS 5 and Win 3.11.
