Query to All:
Has something changed with ME or the LOGic Reflector ???
Somewhere between 5/7/2004 and 5/10/04 the list address changed from:
logic at mailman.qth.net
to
"LOGic is open to all radio amateurs for discussion of LOGic logging program." <logic at mailman.qth.net>
3/27/05 (Reply All) header
TO:
"LOGic is open to all radio amateurs for discussion of LOGic logging program." <logic at mailman.qth.net>, "LOGic is open to all radio amateurs for discussion of LOGic logging program." <logic at mailman.qth.net>
3/28/05 (Reply All) header
TO:
mel.martin at axare.mail.net, "LOGic is open to all radio amateurs for discussion of LOGic logging program." <logic at mailman.qth.net>, "'LOGic is open to all radio amateurs for discussion of LOGic logging program.'" <logic at mailman.qth.net>
Sorry Mel, but you were the first message after the format change.
First:
I could do without the "'LOGic is open to all radio amateurs for discussion of LOGic logging program.'" Advertisement. If you subscribe to the LOGic Reflector, you know
what it is all about. The address "logic at mailman.qth.net" was fine by me.
Second:
I don't know why a "Reply All" gets copy to the "message originator" and TWO copies
to the LOGic Reflector.
It seems to me that for clarity and reduced bandwidth that a simple
"Reply" would be:
To: logic at mailman.qth.net
and a
"Reply All" would be:
To: mel.martin at axare.mail.net, logic at mailman.qth.net
The KISS principle could well applied here !!!
Maybe I'm missing something here. Am I ???
