Hi Bob:
Whenever I have a problem with any program the first place I look is the
registry. Enter a search command for the word "logic" and delete every
entry that looks like it might have something to do with your problem. I fix
9 out of 10 problems this way. I upgraded from 6 to 7 and have no problem
interfacing my FT1000MP. You might also try searching for "com1"
