[Logic] Another problem with F6

When pressing F6 to set the start time of a QSO... If "replaces" the RST
sent/received with 599/599 regardless of what you have type in...
It doesn't really make sense to "preset" RST Rcvd... But typically while
waiting to work a station I will enter RST sent... Actually "RST to be
sent" ;-)
This touches on the whole QSO entry process... So allow we to offer an
opinion from one who hasn't used Logic for long... But has designed
programs for a long time...
The objective when entering QSO's is to make it as simple as possible...
With as few keystrokes as possible... And using ONE hand as much as
possible... The other one is on the key or dial...
We should not have use the mouse... We should not have to use keystrokes
like Cntl-N
I would suggest something along the lines of:
You see something Interesting...
F5 --- grabs the current spot
This will load callsign to the log and set rig frequency, mode, AND
WIDTH... Presently on some Icoms it puts the rig in CW wide mode... Not
good...
The DX responds...
F6 --- sets the Start time... Doesn't clobber anything you have entered
or corrected...
Done...
F7 saves
Either New QSO...
F8
Or go back to frequency before jumping on spot
F9 or something... Doesn't matter here... Not in a hurry any more...
Another mouse avoiding suggestion...
Shortcut keys to jump to for RST / Name / Qth would also be handy... Ie
shift-ctl-R RST received, shift-ctl-N Name, shift-ctl-Q or maybe a
simple 2 sequential keys... F12 = go to... F12 then R RST... F12 then N
Name... Etc...
