I vote for the version number in the filename.

I have wondered and commented about this in the past. Like everything
else
here it is just the way they do it and it just gets blown off. Sometimes
though, things have changed for the better. I hope this sensible change
will be made and also that the older versions are kept which is
impossible
when all have the same name, including directory.
Why not, it would be SO easy and it would be in line with what most
software
developers do?
