Subject: [Logic] Reports
To those who came back on this earlyer. I been useing logic for almost 2
1/2 to 3 years, know enough to do basic filter and get most results. I
understand if you can filter in the log, can then use in the reports which
don't know how to create at all. Maybe someone can do maybe 5 or 10 pdf
files includeing pictuers to help, you set up Award tracking like wise as
the log filters go this is the same. I tryed to filter "Gender" OM, and
"Member" YL Member way it was set up in the awards "IT DID WORK", but in the
report for the state it did not it got only 15, and include the balance or
the different of 48. Only when I include the YL number field in the Award
setup it work, when This and That is true it get results, is not always
TRUE! If you are new to Logic don't get lost, when I say this! By, useing
this symble "=" by useing it does not get the result always, beleave me. I
end of useing the sysmble "*" it is the tiny Star symble we have use in DOS,
in Logic it is called Pattern
match. if you use "ANNA" will match ANNA, ANNE, LOUANNE, or LOUANNA. It is
some time hard to find what works, I think I will get a book about Logic,
and a book about Fox Pro and do some reading. Don't lose heart beginners, I
have learn a lot, it takes time. Only thing, can someone tell me why did it
work?
HI, HI.
