 I right click on the file...check the date under "properties", and compare
with the downloaded file on my PC.. That way I immediately know if the file
on the web is newer than my version..

 I "drag and drop" the entire LOGic 6 folder to a different partition...run
the update... and if there's any problem, I just "drag and drop" the
original folder back on the C drive..
