In XP and WIN2K and MAYBE later versions of WIN98, that just is NOT true.
You can use two of the same buss cars, they are detected and handled as two
cards just fine.
Since almost all use AGP for the primary card and since almost no board has
2 AGP slots you are going to have 2 different busses in use most of the tine
in any case, BUT you do NOT have to do that.
