[Logic] File Compression Fails

Mike-
I've used Logic for a long time and am sure Dennis will fix this in 6.
But apparently most people are not having trouble so it will be hard for
him to find the problem and may be pretty far down on his priority list.
I figure it is not an XP-related problem since I had it earlier with ME.
Apparently it has nothing to do with virus protection either--though I
am curious as to whether you are using either Zone Alarm or Norton.
Actually I think I had two entirely different firewalls and virus setups
at the time the problems began, so that seems to be out.
My previous machine was an upgrade to XP and before that a series of
upgrades through various windows systems, so I had halfway thought the
problem was some insidious corruption. But I have the same problem on a
different ME machine and on this almost virgin reloaded XP one.
So I am pretty sure it "is not me" but is something with LOGIC.
If you hear from Dennis please let me know--and I will reciprocate.

I have had the same problem with Logic5 and now I am having the same
problem
with Logic6 and XP. I sent an email to Dennis a couple of days ago and I
have not heard back from him.
