A heads up here. After I installed the version 6 demo and copied my version
5 files to the new directory to test it and ran the indexing, I could no
longer use version 5. It required a reinstall. This is not a big problem but
I will just ran you to back up your log data, just in case.
During the version 6 install it also asked for my Windows 2000 CD, said a
file needed by windows had been replaced. Something strange goes on here?
I have not had a chance to try all the new on 6 yet but am REALLY HAPPY that
LPT and CW keying via COMM works. I have wanted that for a long time! The
keyer seems to time perfectly under Windows 2000 now, something it did not
even do well under WIN98 before at times.
GOOD JOB!
