[Logic] Using spotting and a digital program at the same time.

Logic has a wonderful spotting function. With the spot log you can filter to
see all unconfirmed stations In other words the selection of worked but not
confirmed is counted as needed so you see what you really want to work and
don't miss one just because you worked it but do not have the card. This is
a great feature.
Unfortunately it is missing one filter that would be very nice. If it is
needed on any mode or band then it shows up, even if you already worked it
and have a confirmation for that entity. It would be nice to have only spots
needed for a mixed award and leave the others out. My dream would be to have
an option that shows
Any totally unworked entity
Any entity that has been worked but has not been confirmed.
If an entity has been confirmed on any band or any mode it is confirmed and
need not be shown in the spot log under this criteria.
To say it more simply, if you have a card for an entity it is not shown, if
you do not have a card, it is.
Let us for a moment assume that the above is implemented some day. If that
happens then what I would like to know is what everyone would use with logic
if they are using a digital mode like PSK31 or RTTY. I have not been able to
find any that will control their radio (the ptt operation is all it needs)
and still allow the logic program to control the radio for spotting and
other control operations.
Any ideas here?
