I would LOVE to see LOGIC have a DX spot/telnet function similar to
DXMONITOR. Yes, I know this utility is being considered for major rewrite by
its author, but the author has time conflicts, etc., and the next version
will probably be a long time in coming. What's nice about DXMONITOR is its
ease of use, easy-to-read interface, Windows-like features (column sorts,
etc.), one-clikc info pop ups, and so on. The spot log features of LOGIC 5.x
got close, but IMHO are still not quiet as quick/easy as DXMONITOR.
Integration to DXTELNET made the LOGIC spot features a LOT better...but
starting and running all these interlinked apps is still rather klunky and
sometimes intermittent. Would be nice to see all these features and
interfaces running under one roof!
