To add to thatproblem, I have two CD roms. Intructions tell you to =
install from the lower drive letter and to REMOVE any CD you have in the =
other CD rom. I forgot to remove the other CD and the registration didnt =
go thru. Thinking for a moment, I remembered I had anotehr CD in the =
other drive. Took it out, ran the registration again and it went thru =
ok.

Hi Gareth,=20
I found I had the problem until I followed the instructions exactly.
i.e. a little window pops up and says something like "if your system
hangs then after 1 minute, remove the CD and click" on something, can't
remember what to click on. But anyway, When mine hung, I removed the CD
but sometimes I didn't wait a full minute and others it was well past a
full minute and each time I got the invalid code. But then I tried to
remove it after just one minute of hang, and for some reason, it worked!
Call me a glutton for punishment but I found this so intriguing that I
tried it (installing) several times to see if it was a coincidence. Sure
enough, if I let it hang for just 1 minute (+/- a few seconds) and
followed the instructions, it installed. But if I canceled the hang too
quickly, or waited several minutes, each time I would get the "invalid
code" message.
I don't know if this is your problem or not, but it's worth a try.
Good luck & 73, Ray W2EC
