[Logic] Serial cards

I recently bought a USB to 4-serial port adapter for use
with my Dell. It's a Keyspan brand unit bought from
www.cdw.com for 139ドル.
=46irst attempt:
Used one serial for radio control of FT817, one for AOR
TDF-370, and third for CW keying. Radio control worked but
when 12v. was supplied to the AOR it was interrupted by some
scanning action in the Keyspan, dunno what or why. Maybe
'cuz I am running the Keyspan plugged into a 4-port USB hub
that. Both hubs get supply voltage from the USB connector.
CW didn't work.
Downloaded new drivers from Keyspan and all functions worked
but I had already moved rig control to Comm2 and the
scannning thing stopped.
I had used TR for contesting and ran out of viable
interrupts so a switch to WriteLog and USB makes sense to
get beyond this limit. I have yet to interface multiple
radios with the USB adaptor but will drive it directly from
one of the computer's USB ports rather than the kludge
configuration I now have.
So far, with Logic, with Logic, it does allow CW and
trerminal activities while rig control is via a real COMM
port.
