Here is a fairly rare Kenwood that you don't see come up for sale very often.
For sale today is a Kenwood TM-251A 2 meter transceiver with 70cm receive as well. It puts out 50 watts on 2m and is nice and compact. This KENWOOD TM-251A ham radio transceiver is perfect for any amateur radio enthusiast. With a frequency range of 144-148 MHz, this device is highly versatile. RADIO RECEIVES ALSO ON THE 440 70-CM BAND SO YOU CAN CROSS-BAND REPEAT IN ONE DIRECTION ! It will receive your HT signal on 70cm and retransmit it on 2m. This is great if you have a low power dualband HT and can receive the repeater ok on your HT but need extra power to get into the repeater.
It comes with a tone encoder and automatic repeater splits to make repeater operating very easy.
It will also do full duplex so you can listen to 70cm while transmitting on 2m. If you want to use this on the satellites you will need to do the frequency modification for it, but then it will do full duplex on the FM satellites. QST measured the receive sensitivity on UHF as one of the best ever made.

It comes with a microphone and manual. It uses a T connector power cord which is common for most VHF radio. It doesn't come with one but I will throw in a powerpole cord in case you want to convert the power pigtail to Anderson power poles.
The backlight is out on it but the display looks fine, just no backlight. There is a crack in the VFO knob but it works just fine.
