[Kenwood] TS930 peak & average meter readings SSB vs. CW modes

Terry,
I've gotten to the point that I pay NO ATTENTION to the meter on the
TS-930S/930SAT.
I've gotten used to using my peak reading Bird.
You ARE getting the same power out with SSB. The built-in meter on the
930 can't keep up with peaks.
The Heathkit SA-2060A "may" be a peak meter, BUT, I don't know how good
it really is.
I used to have a Heathkit 2140 (?) peak dual wattmeter/VSWR meter. It
NEVER read as well as the above mentioned Bird.
The "Average" that you see on the antenna tuner is going to be closer to
just that - Average or RMS. The Heath peak reading meters weren't that
accurate.
It sounds like EVERYTHING on/in YOUR TS-930S is just fine!
