[Kenwood] TS930 problem.

Greetings everyone!
I have two TS930s. One of the 'old' series (208xxxx) and one of the 
'new' (309xxxx).
On both of them the same fault has recently developed wherein, on first 
switch-on, the s-meter pins at FSD for upto 3 minutes, with nil audio 
output on Rx, before slowly settling back to normal & a gradual return 
of AF output. This occurs on all modes & on both fast & slow AGC. On 
AM it also happens with AGC off. The effect is the same as turning RF 
gain right back.
I suspect an electrolytic is on the way out in the AGC section - my 
problem is that my schematic is so worn out that I can no longer read 
this part of it.
Has anybody here had this problem and can point me to the suspect 
component, please??
