I have just double checked and there is no power with the key down...
Some additional info is...
The "On Air"" light does come on.
I do hear the relay click for the linear control (not that I am using it)
The Receive audio is excellent, all bands and modes.
I appreciate all the feedback from the group!

Subject: [Kenwood] Kenwood TS-950SDX No RF Power out?
Greetings fellow Hams,
I have a Kenwood 950sdx that I LOVE, however when I recently went to transmit I observed ZERO power output.
I am not master of Ham gear by any means so I will explain in as much detail as possible.
Here is what I can tell you
It had been off for some time (9 - 12 months)
Everything appears to function perfectly with the exception of the RF output.
No smoke or smell from the unit.
I have tried several dummy loads, and live tuned antennas on various power settings in every mode and band.
Tried all different cables.
I have also put several different power meters in line ith the output and none show any power out.
We went through the manual and completed all the troubleshooting steps that pertain to the issue.
I have checked all the settings including the tx inhibit in the menu and they appear to be set correctly.
IT does not seem to matter if it goes through the internal antenna tuner or not.
One thing I notice is that when the built in meter is set to show the current it does indicate a positive change when trying to transmit. (Very little)
Also the Full / Semi switch is in the Full position.
At first I thought I mush have accidentally pushed a button but after having my father over and going through it we area at a loss!
I realize there is a lot of information needed to diagnose the issue and I am more than willing to email back and forth all day.
I will also send out the 950 as a last resort but dread the thought of it getting damaged in transit (I do have the original packing).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
