Dsp-100 can be used only with ts-850 ; ts-450 and ts- 650 (ts-450 + 6 mts) Regards Alberto YV-3-EDO Enviado desde mi BlackBerry de Movistar -----Original Message----- From: "Mike - wz5q at juno.com" <wz5q at juno.com> Date: 2010年3月12日 05:56:11 To: <kenwood at mailman.qth.net> Subject: Re: [Kenwood] Kenwood DSP unit for Kenwood TS 950 SDX Wanted! Howdy all, > Can the 950SDX be used with a DSP-100? No, The DSP-100 cannot be used with the SDX. They are completely different in how they interface with there respective rigs. > I've been told the DSP-100 is a lot better than the original DSP unit > for the SDX which is > the DSP-10? > This is incorrect. The SDX DSP Unit is a different unit and much better then both the DSP-100 and DSP-10. The SDX DSP was the last and best generation of that particular DSP technology before they went to the TS-870 (a regression IMO). The DSP-10 was the first dsp unit, then the DSP-100, then the SDX DSP. FYI, the DSP-10 doesn't do anything on the TS-950SD Receiver except the Slope Tune function. It mainly only affects the Transmit function. Take Care, -- Mike Voodoo-LABS http://www.voodoo-labs.com Steve wrote: > Can the 950SDX be used with a DSP-100?
