[Kenwood] TS-50S Problem on LCD Board

hi Don,
in the yahoo TS50 group I have photos that
show the location of a plated through hole
that fails and will cause the panel and
audio problems you described.
when I repaired the hole there was a small
black fragment inside the hole. I removed it
with some liquid flux and solder wick.
I repaired the hole with magnet wire and
the radio works just fine.
