[Kenwood] TS-940s

Gentlemen,
I am having my first problem with my 940 since I purchased it new in late
1986. I noticed at first that the built in antenna tuner can not tune for
the lowest swr on my dipole antennas. The tuner motors just run and run on
the 160m, 80m and 40m antennas and never seem to find the lowest swr. I fine
that 10 - 30 meters it tunes and finds the lowest swr just fine on my beams.
 It also acts exactly the say way on my Alpha 2100 dummy load for all bands
160 - 10 meters. If anyone has experienced this same problem with their 940
tuner and have resolved this problem I would really appreciate hearing from
you.
