Use some nice bright white LEDs if possible? Look cool and last forever? I
replaced the meter bulbs in my SW-2000 PWR meter with white LEDs, looks
awesome...
My 2 cents

When the pilot light (for the meter) burned out on my 430, I used a
Radio Shack bulb, (their part number: 272-1092). It is a physically
smaller bulb, but so far it has been working fine. Radio Shack seems
to be downsizing what they carry in their stores, so I don't know if
this bulb is still available. FWIW, the bulb is rated at 12V, 60ma,
10K hours. Good luck.
