[Kenwood] TS-830S Power Transformer Voltages ???

Hi,
A quick look at the circuit (schematic) shows
that the HV uses a half-wave voltage doubler,
something which had escaped my notice in 30 years of owning this great radio.
The '800' winding on the transformer would seem
to refer to the output voltage from the doubler
and I would expect somewhere between 320 and 350volts form the winding.
