>I use a 4N33 opto-isolator on the TxD line of a real serial port (not 
USB). Signaling is basically grounding/ungrounding of the FSK jack to 
generate shift. You will also need to set reversed keying (menu #54 to 
ON) because all Kenwoods are upside down keyed on the FSK jack.
