[Kenwood] Part 2 TS-790A Sequencer help

I would also like to know if anyone has tried to control RF output using the 
ALC line on the TS-790A...
I had hoped to use what appears to be a TX inhibit line at Pin 4 of the ACC 
4 connector, but using that pin for control would seem to prevent being able 
to key the radio using the front microphone connector.
If all else fails, I`ll go the `break-out` from the Mic PTT external line, 
but I was hoping to find something a little more elegant and inclusive of 
using a CW key....
Any tips or pointers out there...? 73...Jordan VE6ZT
