Thanks for all the comments. I found from Heil that the adapter is
indeed for the Kenwood but the audio level from the ProSet HC-4 mic
element is very low. If the 930 processor is used, the mic works
great. If I just use the mic gain level control, I have to set it all
the way up to 9 on the dial before there is enough audio level. With
the MC-80 a setting of the mic level at 5 is more than enough.
Bad Heil mic element? Maybe. Normal performance for the HC-4 DX
element? Don't know yet. Will call Heil again and see what they say.
