Hi All,
I'm thinking of putting the 'pooter interface in a TS-440S. Kenwood lists
this as the "IC-10 Interface kit" and is apparently comprised of one
uPD8251AC and one TC4040BP IC. The TC4040 sounds like a "generic" CMOS IC,
but I'm not so sure about the first one.
No, I haven't called Kenwood yet, but I suspect this kit is no longer
stocked since the reports I've heard indicates that KW no longer supports
the 440. (I would probably buy the Piexx level converter to use with it).
has anyone "recently" put one of these kits in their radio and have a
suggestion for parts sources (can't get it 'till the middle of next week
anyway).
