All,
I just acquired a 2M Kenwood Transceiver Model TS-700A.
I also have the Operating/Service manual as well as the original power cord
and the MC-50 microphone.

Does anyone on the list have any of the accessories listed;

Hi John,
I have a set of the Kenwood twins R599/T599 that will be available at
my estate sale. However, there have been some of them on the bay
recently and I think reasonably priced (200ドル - 300ドル). I try to keep
track of the value of my equipment so that whoever is here to dispose
of my junk will have some idea of the value.
I'm not sure about the D model but my plain vanilla model has the
optional 2 meter converter and there is a place for a 6 meter
converter. Those have some use so you should look for one that has
those installed. Unless you want to roll your own converter(s). There
is no federal law that prohibits installing whatever band converters
you want in those positions if you can tolerate the panel labels.
There is a mode switch on the front that will switch them in and out
for you. Since the receiver also has an FM mode you can (ab)use it for
that, too. Try for one that has the transceive cable connector
included so you can interface it with whatever rig you might use it
with.
The matching transmitters seem to have less value. Unless you really
want one just look for the R599(D) for sale by itself. The transmitter
does have a switchable low power output (finals disabled) intended for
use with a transmitting converter. If you already have an all mode two
meter radio that feature probably doesn't have much value for you. The
transmitter does not include the 160 meter band nor the FM mode.
