[Kenwood] Help with AT440

Tim,
Several years ago, my radio club bought a tuner off eBay for the club's
TS440. Even with the service manual in hand, we could never get the tuner
to work. I finally packed the radio and tuner up and shipped it to
Kenwood's West Coast repair facility. A few weeks and about 150ドル later, I
received a fully-tuned and upgraded TS440S that still works perfectly.
Apparently, one more jumper wire was needed, and a few jumpers must be moved
or PCB traces cut to make the tuner work properly. I later learned that the
tuner was never intended to be added after the radio was assembled at the
factory, and that's why the manual didn't help us in hooking it up to an
existing radio.
