[Kenwood] Reliability of TS570

I purchased a TS570D in 1997. Never bothered to upgrade it to a G. It's
worked over 200 countries, thousands of contest contacts (mostly CW, but
plenty of SSB and RTTY, too), been on two QSO Party mobile trips in the car,
Field Day almost every year, and it keeps on ticking. It hasn't been the
main rig for about 5 years, but when called upon, it has never failed me.

Subject: [Kenwood] Reliability of TS570
What is the reliability record like on the Kenwood
TS570 series? Any known problems likely to develop in
this radio? Any serial number ranges to avoid?
Also interested in hearing any good or bad comments
about the TS570SG.
