A bit after buying my TS940 my fan became noisy and seemed to run all the time, a bit of oil applied on the fan shaft cured the noise and long run time.
Also after taking a look-see at the TS940 manual, page 51, at section 11-3 Maintance, item #3
Fan Motor Lubrication..."Every 6 months apply a drop of light machine oil at the point where the shaft meets the motor housing"
This has worked for me and is no big job to do.
