[Kenwood] 6146A in TS-830S ?

Wondering if it acceptable to replace the 6146B final
tubes with 6146A's ? I recently aquired a TS-830S from
and estate that needed minor repair. The output power
was down a bit (80W) so I replaced the finals with
6146A's that I had on hand. Power is back up and the
radio seems happy. Should I leave it this way or
spring for a pair of 6146B's ? BTW, I tried a set of
Chinese B's and they are junk. 
Any info appreciated!
