[Kenwood] Funny Thing

I just wanted to post a funny thing I found out about my new used TM-V7A. I'm sure many of you may have already noticed this but I think it is kinda cool. The radio has the Cool Blue display. When I got it installed on my truck and working it was a great little radio but one day I was driving down the road and herd a fellow ham sign on one of the local repeaters and when I looked down at the radio the display was blank like the radio was off but I still herd audio. I thought "Damn its broke already" but to my happy surprise when I took off my sunglasses to check it out the display was bright and clear. With Blue Blockers the cool blue display is almost completely obliterated in bright sun. It is still visible with normal gray sunglasses but the Blue Blockers block it out almost totally.
I may be easily amused but I thought that was pretty funny.
