[Kenwood] ts 520 mic which one will work Thank you

Thanks to all. I am going to look into the different options suggested.
I have a lot to learn about this rig and its peripherals. At what point
in tuning is it critical to not key down more than 10-15 seconds? I
find that dipping the plate takes the longest as I often need to adjust
the carrier knob as well to keep it at 200 on the meter. Since I am in
cw mode at the time, the tubes are getting full force power. I don't
worry so much about peaking the drive as I am in tune mode when doing
that.
Thanks

You need to check your output with a good watt meter preferably into a
dummy
load.
As far as the mike, many MC-60's had a wiring error in the mike. The
easiest way to get a good sounding mike is to get one from Heil Sound.
A D-104 with the FET modification on will work really nice. I wrote an
article on that. If you want the article please let me know and I'll
send it
to you. n9wb at arrl.net.
We used to use the high impedance Shure 444. in the day with 520's and
820's. They sound better than the MC-50 or 60.
Most CB hand mikes are the wrong impedance for the 520 and lack output.
