[Kenwood] TS50S intermittent tx

Hello to the list,
I am having the above problem with my radio. It has manifested itself on 20,
40 and 75m. Thus far I have removed the filter board and resoldered
everything with no change. I am currently trying to obtain a service manual
before proceeding further. Anyone else ahve this problem? The output power
suddenly drops back to about 10 watts and the SWR going into a 50 ohm load
goes up to about 8:1. I suspect something in the tx output is failing
causing the swr to go high and the radio then drops the power back. Sometime
it will start working again after a few transmissions other times I have to
turn it off for awhile then back on. It will then work ok for about 10-15
minutes and fail again. I thought it might be a thermal problem but
sometimes it happens when I first power it up. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
