[Kenwood] TS940s HELP needed

John,
I have repaired a few TS-940 rigs but have not run into all of these symptoms,
at least not simultaneously in one rig. The first one sounds like a dirty
relay. I'm not sure about #2 but will give it some thought. As for #3, it
sounds like a loose connector or a loose wire.
Dino, KLØS/4, is probably on the right track. I, too, have fixed many
intermittents in a '940 by unplugging the connectors, applying DeOxit, and
reseating the connectors. From experience I would start with the connectors
under the speaker and all around it. Get a service manual if you don't have
one.
