I have a letter from Hoosier Electronics dated February of 1981, telling me
that they acknowledged my order but would not be able to ship for several
weeks as they were awaiting a shipment from Kenwood. As I recall, I paid
818ドル for the TS-830S in March or April of 1981. I don't think the 830 went
out of production in 1981. The 850 replaced it, and I don't think the 850
showed up until 1990 or 1991.

Hi Larry,
That's wrong----I bought a brand new one in November 1980, and had
to wait about 8 weeks for delivery because the dealer that I bought it from
(Derrick Electronics) had not yet gotten delivery of his first one. If I
remember correctly, I paid about 1100.00 for the radio, the SP-230 speaker,
and the VFO-230 remote VFO. I sold everything on Ebay about 3 years ago,
and got over 800ドル for the 3 pieces.
