On the subject of these lousy shaft couplers, does anyone have any suggestions on how to ensure they stay tight on the shafts? I have to open up my TS-530S at least every couple of months to tighten the screws on the coupler or it will loosen up enough to go completely out of whack (that's a pain to try to find proper alignment again). I'm afraid to crank down too hard on the screws - I don't want to strip them. Is there anything like Loktite that would work on the coupler? And Joe - if you find a place that sells the couplers, let me know please. I might as well buy a few for future use. _______________________________________________ Bill Kuhn KC0NYL My recent contacts are here.. http://www.kuhngroup.com/hamcontacts_interface/contacts/results_page.asp _______________________________________________ -----Original Message----- From: kenwood-bounces at mailman.qth.net [mailto:kenwood-bounces at mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Clif Holland Sent: Saturday, August 28, 2004 9:15 AM To: joe sloss; kenwood at mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Kenwood] TS-820S D22-0409-05 Clif Holland, KA5IPF www.avvid.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "joe sloss" <k7mks at comcast.net> To: <kenwood at mailman.qth.net> Sent: Saturday, August 28, 2004 2:01 AM Subject: [Kenwood] TS-820S Can anyone give me the Kenwood part number for the small nylon shaft coupling that connects the main bandswitch shaft to the final tank circuit bandswitch shaft.
