[Kenwood] TS850S problem

Hello All,
I have a recently purchased TS850 thats doing a weird thing. Its gradually 
started doing this over the last month and now tonight its doing it all the 
time. After the radio sits on 20 meters in receive mode for awhile the audio 
starts to distort and at times it drops off considerably. The signal seems to drop 
off at times also. When I key the mic and activate the relay, it comes back 
for a few moments then starts to distort again in a few seconds. Ive looked at a 
few of the 850 repair sites and I havent been able to find this distinct 
issue. Back in the bigger rig days Id say this sounded like a dirty relay? Anyone 
had this issue with an 850? Is it the dreaded dc/dc board issue? Thanks a lot!
