I agree with Bob. Sounds like RF getting back into your rig. I have a bit
of that in my mobile setup from time to time.
I have everything in the shack bonded together, including the computer. It
connects to a ground rod just outside of the shack. My computer and rig
sits right next to a 4-1000 linear and works just fine.

Subject: [Kenwood] Audio (Speaker) noise problem during TX
Hi,
I am a very new member of the list, and already posted my problem days ago,
but due any reason I did not receive any listmails until today.
Sorry, for reposting if you already received my first mail:
I have one problem with my TS850S (bought it used few months ago):
I hear myself during transmitting out of the speaker. It does not matter if
I use internal or external speaker (I use MD100 mic or original mic)
Of course moni button is off.
The volume depends from the position of the moni control pot ! I have it of
course at "0" position but problem is still there. On postion "10" I hear
me
during transmitting very loud out of the speaker with distorted mod however
the MONI BUTTON is OFF !!
The volume depends also from the PROC Control pot and the used power!
It doesn?t depends which antenna I am using. I have the problem on all
bands
!
Somebody know how to fix this problem ?
