[Kenwood] 850 Noise Blanker ??

I was never impressed with the NB on my 850 either. Amazes me why Kenwood
didn't put in an NB as effective as their earlier radios (940 and the 830).
However, there is a simple mod out there which claims to make it as good as
the 940.
There are often times when I feel my NB is of NO USE at all !
