YES. We did get 60 meters.
BUT - with several major restrictions...
1. Only 50 watts allowed.
2. Only USB (no LSB, CW, RTTY etc. allowed).
3. NO VFO's allowed (yet) - in 'channelized' format with frequencies of:
5332, 5348, 5368, 5373, and 5405 kHz
4. Only 0 db gain dipoles allowed (forget beams, phased verticals, etc.).
5. No contesting or ragchewing'.
See the following link (ARRL website) for additional detail. It was
announced at an ARRL forum recently at the Dayon Hamvention that the above
frequencies had been granted for limited/restricted use.
