Tom and the group,
For a while I was using a Logitech wireless KB and Mouse and the RFI to 10
M was terrible. When I operated on 10 M the PC went crazy.
After several calls to Logitech tech support, they told me that the freq
they use is very close to the CB band but would not tell me what it was.
My freq. counter would not pick it up.
I switched to a Microsoft wireless system and no problems at all..
Have fun

Subject: [Kenwood] Wireless keyboard & mouse with Kenwood transciever
Fellow DXers and Kenwood users:
I will be operating as 7P8TA with Kenwood equipment (TS850s) of course
July 18-25. I was planning on using a laptop with Prolog 2K as a
logging program and a wireless external keyboard and wireless mouse
(those laptop keys are just too small for my fingers). Has anyone
experienced any problems using a wireless keyboard and mouse in an RF
environment such as their home station? Will also be using a 600 or 1
kw amp.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Tom, WW5L/7P8TA
PS: my home station has a TS430S and a TS830S
