[Kenwood] TS850 Hot transmit

 Well it's a bit more than a simple PTT lock switch. First off; I see a n=
oise feed into the MC85. The MC85 meter will move to 75% of the scale when =
the MC85 mic is plugged into the mic jack with no outside noise. Along with=
 that, the mic audio has something because the mic adjust can control the a=
mount of feed back into the MC85. I will look again at the VOX adjustments,=
 but with the VOX switch "off", doesn't that negate that possibility of it =
keying the radio with the VOX circuitry? It still keys up no matter what is=
 turn on or off.Or why doesn't it do that with the MC43 hand mic or my head=
set?=20
 I may have to filet it open and start checking the boards, connectors an=
d components for something loose. I thought someone might have seen this be=
fore and could steer me to a possible point to begin at. I appreciate all =
