[Kenwood] TS930 digital board question

My experience with the TS930 digital board suggests that the problem
area is bounded by the fresh air surrounding the board and that anywhere
there is a hole in the board with solder is a potential failure point. I
understand the Piexx replacement is very popular and not just because of
the extra facilities it offers. That said, if you are comfortable
working with the type of pcb in question repair should not be impossible
and I for one would definitely hold on to a spare (working) if you have
it just to reduce downtime when the one in the radio fails.
Anyone have a spare digital board they don't want?

Subject: [Kenwood] TS930 digital board question
I have 2 spare digital boards for the 930 and was wondering: The common
failure for this board was a factory soldering problem,
specifically, what area on that board were most of the problems found?
Thanks,
