If you are using Push To Talk with the mic button, you should have VOX off.

I just bought a new TS-570D(G) and have encountered a problem. Using it on
SSB tonight I noticed that sometimes instead of dropping out of TX
immediately after I let go of mike button (hand mic) it would hold for maybe
four seconds and then drop back to RX. It just happens now and then. VOX
gain and delay are at default settings and VOX is on. Any suggestions?
